About the event

The Apex Singers are an 8-part vocal ensemble renowned for their innovative arrangements and distinctive sound. With over 50 bespoke arrangements, their repertoire showcases the individual voices within the group, creating a truly unique and captivating musical experience.  Adding to their accolades, The Apex Singers’ live performance of “Wild Mountain Thyme” at Hallé St Michael’s earned them “Outstanding Live Video” at the A Cappella Video Awards 2023. Their studio albums, “Hiraeth” (2020) and “Stravaig” (2022), have garnered critical acclaim, including two Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards and Simon Mayo’s Album of the Week on Scala Radio.  This special performance at St Gregory's Centre for Music marks a momentous occasion as The Apex Singers launch their new album - Woven. Join The Apex Singers for an unforgettable evening of impeccable a cappella singing.

Please note that there are no refreshment facilities available, and the venue is not licensed to sell or permit the consumption of alcohol on the premises.

Workshop info: Doors 4.45pm, event runs 5pm-6.30pm Whether you're a seasoned vocalist or simply love to sing in the shower, this is your opportunity to be part of a brilliant choir without the long-term commitment. Under the expert guidance of The Apex Singers, you'll embark on a thrilling vocal workshop, joining members of the group and other like-minded vocalists as you delve into the art of ensemble a cappella singing.  

Concessions: Concessions include over 65s, those in full time education & those on income support. Proof may be required. Accessible tickets are available for those with a disability who require a carer.
